White Castle Turkey Stuffing Recipe

‘Tis the season to be Traditional or Bold. Which side of the Thanksgiving spectrum are you guys on? While we do like the allure of the traditional, it’s always fun to make things a bit more interesting and throw in a unique dish that will keep everyone guessing. This year, we attempted the famous White Castle Turkey Stuffing Recipe and we can totally see why others on the Interweb are so excited about this.

Think about it... You’re turning your favorite sliders into a delicious, comforting casserole. It’s brilliant! And also, a great conversation piece at the table.

Have everyone guess what’s in the casserole. After a few bites, we can guarantee you that it will be their new holiday favorite. It’s just so hard to resist White Castle’s one-of-a-kind taste, and there’s something about adding those holiday spices that makes it totally crave-worthy.

The great thing about this recipe is that, even if you don’t have a White Castle restaurant nearby, you can absolutely make this recipe with the microwaveable packages that you find in the frozen section at Jewel-Osco. And compared to other casserole recipes that we’ve tried previously, this recipe actually takes very little prep time. You can even make it ahead of time!

If you’re up for this tasty Holiday twist, here’s our take on White Castle’s stuffing. Also, if you want to win free White Castle Sliders to make this recipe, head to our Instagram profile for details.

White Castle Turkey Stuffing Recipe

  • 10 White Castle® Original Sliders, no pickles
  • 1 cup Celery, diced
  • 1 cup Granny Smith Apple, diced
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons Thyme, ground
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Sage, ground
  • 3/4 teaspoon Black pepper, coarsely ground
  • 1 Cup of Chicken broth
Note: Because we used a small 5 lb. turkey, we decided to cook the stuffing separately. We also added apples for added sweetness.

1. In a large mixing bowl, chop the Sliders into pieces and add diced celery, apple and seasonings.

2. Add 1 cup chicken broth, toss well

3. Add ingredients to Casserole Dish and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

Note: You could also stuff the ingredients into the cavity of the turkey. Just prepare ingredients as noted above, but reduce chicken broth to 1/4 Cup, then cook as you normally would. Allow 1 Slider for each pound of turkey, which will be equal to 3/4 cup of stuffing per pound.
